The E-Vitara is Suzuki's only electric vehicle in Nepal, and its entry price undercuts several of the brand's petrol SUVs. Four variants are listed: Delta at an indicative Rs 52,99,000, Zeta at Rs 57,99,000, Alpha at Rs 63,99,000 and Alpha DT at Rs 64,49,000 (official site, October 2026).

The Delta uses a 49 kWh battery and a 105.8 kW motor with a claimed range of 440 km; Zeta and Alpha step up to 61 kWh and 128 kW for a claimed 543 km. Suzuki's range figures carry a footnote but name no test cycle, so treat them as brand claims and expect less in hilly or cold-weather driving. All versions produce 193 Nm and use a single-speed transmission with two-wheel drive. On a 7.4 kW home AC charger, a 10 to 100 per cent charge takes about 6.5 hours for the Delta and about 9 hours for the bigger battery, so overnight charging covers both. DC fast charging from 10 to 80 per cent takes about 45 minutes, though the charger power is not stated.

Ground clearance is 185 mm on a 2,700 mm wheelbase, with multi-link rear suspension and 18-inch tyres. The LFP battery carries an 8-year warranty. Kerb weight runs from 1,725 to 1,815 kg.

What to consider

  • Range figures have no named test standard
  • DC charger power not stated
  • Feature list (airbags, ADAS, camera) not mapped to variants
  • Two-wheel drive only
