Who it suits: Buyers who can charge at home and want a mid-size electric SUV for city and highway use without paying luxury-EV prices.
Hyundai Nepal lists one version of the Creta Electric, the Executive Tech, at an indicative ex-showroom price of Rs 60,96,000 (official site, October 2026). That places it only Rs 5.4 lakh above the cheapest petrol Creta and roughly level with the mid-range petrol trims.
The battery is 42 kWh and the motor is rated at 99 kW, driving through a single-speed reduction gear. Hyundai claims 390 km of range on India's MIDC test cycle; real-world range on Nepal's climbs and in winter will usually be lower than any brand claim. Charging figures are given for specific chargers: about 4 hours from 10 to 100% on an 11 kW AC unit, and 58 minutes from 10 to 80% on a 50 kW DC charger. A battery this size is easy to top up at home overnight.
The body is 4,340 mm long on a 2,610 mm wheelbase, with discs on all four wheels and 17-inch tyres. Eight colours are listed, including two matte finishes. What is not published: torque, ground clearance, boot space, seating and safety equipment. For an SUV sold partly on practicality, those are worth checking in person.
Indicative only. Banks add service charges and may price your loan differently.
