Who it suits: Value-focused buyers who want the J5's equipment and do most of their driving within the city.
Priced at Rs 51,99,000 indicative ex-showroom (official site, October 2026), the J5 Pro undercuts the regular J5 by Rs 5 lakh. The trade is a smaller 50.6 kWh battery and a claimed range of 405 km instead of 461 km; the test standard is not named.
The motor is listed at the same 155 kW, and the body is identical: 4,380 mm long on a 2,620 mm wheelbase, 1,650 mm tall, 185 mm ground clearance and 235/55 R18 tyres. The page does not state the drive type for the Pro.
Kit carries over in full, including the panoramic sunroof, the 540-degree camera and the long driver-assist list with adaptive cruise, lane-keep assist, rear cross-traffic braking and door-open warning. For many buyers who mostly drive in town and charge at home, 405 km claimed is still a comfortable figure, which makes the Pro the value pick of the pair. As with the J5, ignore the petrol-style text on the official page and go by the spec table. Charging times are not published.
