Ultraviolette, the Bengaluru electric motorcycle maker, sells three bikes in Nepal: the F77 Mach 2, the street-styled F77 SuperStreet and the X-47 crossover. With up to 30 kW, a 10.3 kWh battery and 323 km of claimed range, they are the most powerful electric motorcycles on sale here. The F77s cost Rs 8,11,000 or Rs 9,69,000 on Ultraviolette Nepal's own website, and the X-47 starts at Rs 6,84,900. The distributor is Vaidya's Organization, with a showroom at Naxal, Kathmandu.

Two batteries: 7.1 kWh or 10.3 kWh
Every Ultraviolette comes with one of two battery packs, and that choice matters more than the model name.
| 7.1 kWh (X-47, Original, Original+, F77 base) | 10.3 kWh (Recon versions, Desert Wing) | |
|---|---|---|
| Peak power | 27 kW (36.2 hp) | 30 kW (40.2 hp) |

| IDC claim | 323 km |
|---|---|
| Glide | 266 km |
| Combat | 209 km |
| Ballistic | 186 km |

The IDC figure is a test-cycle claim. Ultraviolette's own mode-by-mode estimates are more useful for planning. For a 200 km day trip, such as Kathmandu to Pokhara with some city riding at either end, the 10.3 kWh battery is the safer choice. The 7.1 kWh pack suits daily city riding and short highway runs.
Charging: every Ultraviolette charges from a normal 16 A household socket with the included charger. An optional Boost charger halves the time (20–80% in 1.5 h on the F77 7.1 kWh, 2.5 h on the 10.3 kWh). Ultraviolette also lists 12 kW fast charging on its own UV Supernova Plus network. Check with the showroom whether those chargers are installed in Nepal yet; our EV charging guide covers what is available.
F77 Mach 2 and F77 SuperStreet
The F77 is Ultraviolette's sporty, faired electric motorcycle. The SuperStreet has the same motor, battery, chassis and dimensions as the Mach 2, but a more upright, street-oriented riding position. Nepal prices are the same for both.

The F77 Mach 2.
Key facts from the Nepal spec sheets:
- 0–60 km/h in 2.8–2.9 seconds and 155 km/h top speed.
- Dual-channel Bosch ABS, a 320 mm front disc with a four-piston radial caliper, and Ultraviolette's Dynamic Stability Control, which balances regenerative braking with ABS.
- 41 mm upside-down fork, preload-adjustable monoshock, 110/70 and 150/60 17-inch tyres.
- 800 mm seat and 160 mm ground clearance.
- Three ride modes: Glide, Combat and Ballistic. The Recon adds 4-level traction control and 10 levels of regenerative braking; on the base bike these are optional.
- A 5-inch TFT screen, LTE connectivity, hill hold, park assist and "Find my F77".

The F77 is built for sporty road riding.
The 160 mm ground clearance is the F77's weak point for Nepal. It is fine on blacktop, but take care on broken roads and steep speed breakers.
X-47: the crossover with radar
The X-47 uses the same motors and batteries as the F77 in a taller, upright crossover body. It launched in Nepal at the NAIMA Mobility Expo on 12 August 2026.

The X-47 has a taller stance, 200 mm ground clearance and an 820 mm seat.
What makes it different:
- 200 mm ground clearance (40 mm more than the F77), longer-travel suspension and a cast aluminium sub-frame for luggage.
- 820 mm seat height (805 mm with a rider on it, Ultraviolette says) and an upright riding position.
- UV Hypersense radar: a 77 GHz rear radar with rear collision warning, lane change assist, overtake alert and blind-spot detection. Ultraviolette calls the X-47 the world's first electric two-wheeler with radar. Every variant except the base X-47 has it.
- Dashcam: front and rear cameras with a touchscreen, standard on the Desert Wing and an upgrade on the others.
- MRF Revz-AT tyres in the same 17-inch sizes as the F77.

| Original | adds the radar |
| Original+ | adds an on-board charger, 4-level traction control, 10-level regen, LTE connectivity and a 5-year/1,00,000 km battery warranty |

How it compares with other electric motorcycles in Nepal
Ultraviolette is in a different class from most electric motorcycles sold here. Prices and figures are from each brand's Nepal website in our catalogue:

At about the same price as a NIU RQi, the F77 Recon has four times the power and twice the battery. For more choices, see our electric motorcycles in Nepal guide.
Which one should you buy?
- For city riding on a budget: the base X-47 at Rs 6,84,900 gives you the tall crossover body and 211 km of claimed range. You give up the radar, and you get the shorter battery warranty.
- For highway trips: choose a 10.3 kWh version (F77 Recon or X-47 Recon+). The extra range matters more than anything else on longer rides.
- For Nepal's roads: the X-47 has 40 mm more ground clearance than the F77. Only choose the F77 if most of your riding is on good tarmac.
- For the longest warranty: only the Desert Wing includes 8 years/8,00,000 km on the battery and drivetrain. On the F77 Recon it is an optional extra.
Every model has a 3-year/30,000 km vehicle warranty. During Dashain 2026, Vaidya's Organization offered a free helmet, a diamond coating and financing on every Ultraviolette, according to B360. For loan rules and EMIs, see our bike and scooter loan guide.
