The V-Strom SX 250 is Suzuki's adventure-tourer for Nepal and the brand's most expensive two-wheeler here, at an indicative ex-showroom Rs 6,23,900 for its single Standard version (official site, October 2026).

Its 249 cc single-cylinder makes 19.49 kW and 22.2 Nm, nearly double the Gixxer 155's power, through a 6-speed gearbox with electric start. The numbers that matter for touring in Nepal are good: 205 mm of ground clearance, a 19-inch front wheel on a 100/90-19 tubeless tyre for rolling over broken tarmac and gravel, oil-damped coil-spring suspension at both ends and discs front and rear. The tank holds 12 litres, but Suzuki publishes no mileage, so touring range is unknown.

The trade-offs are size and weight. At 167 kg and with an 835 mm seat, the tallest in Suzuki's range, it will be a stretch for shorter riders, especially when stopping on slopes. ABS is not listed in the data. The rear tyre size on the site contains a typo, so we have not published it.
