Who it suits: Riders who want a scrambler for mixed city and village roads with more clearance than the 350s, without Himalayan 450 money.
Between the 350s and the 450s sits the Scram 440, with a 443 cc single rated at 18.7 kW and 34 Nm and a six-speed gearbox. Royal Enfield Nepal offers it in two trims: Trail, in Trail Green, at an indicative ex-showroom Rs 6,89,900, and Force, in Force Blue, Grey or Teal, at Rs 6,99,900 (official site, October 2026). The published data shows no equipment difference beyond colour and price.
Its chassis is a lighter-duty take on adventure riding. Ground clearance is 200 mm, the front wheel is 19-inch with a 100/90 dual-purpose tyre and the rear is a 17-inch 120/90, also dual-purpose. Suspension is a 41 mm telescopic fork and a linkage monoshock. Braking uses a 300 mm front disc with a two-piston caliper and a 240 mm rear disc, with dual-channel ABS that can be switched off at the rear.
The seat is 795 mm high, which is lower than many adventure-style bikes, and the tank holds 15 litres. Kerb weight is a stated 196 kg, the same as the Himalayan 450 despite less power. There is no fuel economy figure. At more than Rs 3 lakh less than the Himalayan 450, it is a cheaper route to mixed-road riding.
Indicative only. Banks add service charges and may price your loan differently.
