Honda's Shine 125 is the lower-priced of the brand's two 125 cc commuter motorcycles in Nepal. The official site lists two versions, DRS at an indicative ex-showroom price of Rs 2,99,900 and DSS at Rs 3,09,900 (official site, October 2026), which makes the DRS the cheapest Honda motorcycle we have data for.
Mechanically it is close to the SP 125. The 123.94 cc engine is listed at 7.9 kW and 11 Nm with a 5-speed manual gearbox and self/kick start. Kerb weight is 113 kg, the tank holds 10.5 litres, and ground clearance is 162 mm, marginally more than the SP. Both 18-inch wheels run 80/100 tubeless tyres. The brake table lists a 240 mm front disc and a 130 mm front drum but does not tie either to DSS or DRS; the names hint at the difference, yet the site does not state it, so ask before you buy. The rear brake is a drum on both.
