Who it suits: Commuters who want a sportier 125 cc bike with strong claimed fuel economy and decent clearance for rough roads.
With a sportier look than the Splendors and a single price of Rs 2,98,900 indicative ex-showroom (official site, October 2026), the Xtreme 125R targets commuters who want something sharper. Its 124.7 cc engine is rated at 8.5 kW and 10.5 Nm, noticeably more than the Super Splendor, and it gets a five-speed gearbox.
Hero quotes a claimed 66 km/l under the WMTC test. With a 10-litre tank, that is about 660 km on paper, though real riding in traffic and on hills will be lower. Tubeless tyres in 90/90-17 and 120/80-17 sizes, a 37 mm conventional fork and a 180 mm ground clearance help on rough roads, and the seat is 794 mm high. Kerb weight is 136 kg for the self-start, disc, cast-wheel version.
The front brake is the main unknown. The spec sheet lists both a CBS version with a 240 mm disc and an ABS version with a 276 mm disc, while only one price is shown, so check which one you are being offered. The rear is a 130 mm drum. Colours are Firestorm Red, Cobalt Blue and Stallion Black.
Indicative only. Banks add service charges and may price your loan differently.
