Who it suits: Sedan buyers who want an automatic hybrid without home charging and are willing to pay a large premium over the petrol City.
Honda's City e:HEV is the brand's only hybrid in Nepal and its most expensive car. It is a self-charging hybrid, so there is nothing to plug in. Two versions are listed: V CVT at an indicative ex-showroom price of Rs 90,40,000 and ZX CVT at Rs 1,03,00,000 (official site, October 2026). The page's default price box shows Rs 98,60,000, which matches neither.
The published power and torque, 72 kW and 127 Nm, are for the 1,498 cc petrol engine alone; Honda Nepal does not give the electric motor's output, so the combined figure is unknown. The transmission is a CVT. The sedan is 4,583 mm long, seats five, has 165 mm of ground clearance and a 410-litre boot. Unlike the petrol City, it gets disc brakes at both ends, ventilated at the front, on 185/55 R16 tyres.
The data has real gaps. Parts of the spec table appear to be copied from other models, so we have left out kerb weight, gear count and top speed. Most importantly for a hybrid, no fuel-economy figure is published. Compared with the City 5th Gen ZX CVT, the cheaper e:HEV costs Rs 6,64,000 more and has 96 litres less boot space.
Indicative only. Banks add service charges and may price your loan differently.
