No other Yamaha scooter in Nepal comes close to the Aerox 155 on power: the 155 cc engine makes 11.0 kW and 13.9 Nm through a CVT automatic. The standard version has an indicative ex-showroom price of Rs 5,04,900 (official site, October 2026); the Aerox S page shows no price, so treat it as price on request.

The hardware is closer to a small motorcycle than a typical scooter. It has 14-inch wheels with a wide 140/70-14 rear tyre, a 1350 mm wheelbase and a 230 mm front disc with ABS paired with a 130 mm rear drum on the standard version. Kerb weight is 126 kg, the seat is 790 mm high and the tank holds 5.5 litres.

Two trade-offs matter here. Ground clearance is only 145 mm, so tall speed breakers and broken roads need care, especially with a pillion. And at Rs 5,04,900 it costs more than several 150 cc Yamaha motorcycles, including the FZ-S FI New Gen. The Aerox S page lists the rear brake as a 130 mm disc, which conflicts with the standard model's drum, so we have not shown its rear brake. Metallic Black, Vermillion and Racing Blue are offered.
