At an indicative ex-showroom price of Rs 4,14,000 (official site, October 2026), the S 125 is the most expensive of the three Vespas currently listed in Nepal. On paper it is very close to the standard Vespa 125: the same 124.45 cc single-cylinder engine, rated at 7.0 kW with 10.1 Nm, the same BS VI OBD II Stage B listing and electric-only starting.
Running gear is shared too. Up front there is a single-sided hydraulic arm with anti-dive, and the rear shock is adjustable (the site's wording on how many positions is unclear, so we don't state a number). Braking is a 200 mm front disc and 140 mm rear drum linked by CBS, on tubeless 110/70-11 front and 120/70-10 rear tyres. The seat is 770 mm off the ground, the tank takes 7.4 litres and the wheelbase is 1,290 mm, which keeps it compact in traffic.
The honest catch is that nothing in the published specs explains the Rs 10,000 premium over the Vespa 125. Any differences in styling or equipment are not described on the spec sheet, and no colour names are listed either. Ask the showroom what the extra money buys before choosing between the two.
