Priced at an indicative Rs 4,03,400 ex-showroom (official site, October 2026), the SR 160 is the middle step in Aprilia's Nepal lineup. Its 160.03 cc single-cylinder engine produces 8.29 kW and 13.44 Nm, a clear step up in torque over the 125 cc Storm.
The SR 160 rides on 14-inch wheels at both ends, with tubeless 120/70-14 tyres. Larger wheels generally roll over potholes and speed breakers more calmly than small scooter wheels, which matters on Nepal's uneven roads. Braking pairs a 220 mm front disc with ABS and a 140 mm rear drum. Suspension is a 30 mm telescopic fork up front and an adjustable dual-effect hydraulic shock at the back. The seat sits at 780 mm, slightly taller than the Storm, and the fuel tank is 6 litres. It keeps both kick and electric start, and at 780 mm wide it is a little slimmer than the other Aprilias listed.
For Rs 63,500 more than the Storm 125 Stage A you get the bigger engine, larger wheels and front ABS. Kerb weight, ground clearance and fuel economy are not published, and the site shows no colour names.
