Who it suits: Riders stepping up from a 125 who want a 150 cc commuter with a large tank, with the TD for those who value the extra braking hardware.
The Pulsar 150 is offered in two forms with their own prices: the SD (single disc) at an indicative ex-showroom Rs 3,69,900 and the TD (twin disc) at Rs 3,90,900 (official site, October 2026). Both use a 149.5 cc engine rated at 10.3 kW and 13.4 Nm, and both have a 15-litre tank and 165 mm of ground clearance.
The Rs 21,000 gap buys more than a second disc. The TD adds a 230 mm rear disc in place of the SD's 130 mm drum, lists single-channel ABS, fits a wider 120/80-17 rear tyre (the SD has a 100/90-17) and uses Nitrox twin rear shocks. It is also lighter on paper, at 144 kg against 148 kg, and a little taller and longer in the wheelbase. The SD's 260 mm front disc is listed as having ABS, but the type is not specified.
For most buyers comparing the two, the TD looks like the better-equipped package for a modest premium. Gearbox details, seat height and mileage are not published for either. Five colours are listed across the range, including two metallic black combinations.
Indicative only. Banks add service charges and may price your loan differently.
