The Pulsar N160 is the most affordable Bajaj in Nepal with dual-channel ABS and a disc at both ends. HH Bajaj lists an indicative ex-showroom price of Rs 4,47,900 (official site, October 2026).

The distributor rates the 164.82 cc engine at 12.5 kW and 14.6 Nm, with a 5-speed constant-mesh gearbox. Hardware is generous for the class: a 300 mm front disc, 230 mm rear disc, upside-down front fork and a Nitrox monoshock with canister. Tyres are 100/80-17 front and 130/70-17 rear, tubeless. Kerb weight is 152 kg, the tank holds 12 litres and ground clearance is 170 mm.

One caution: the official sources disagree. The distributor gives 12.5 kW, 14.6 Nm and a 33 mm USD fork, while the Bajaj Auto Nepal page lists 11.7 kW, 14.65 Nm and 37 mm forks. We show the distributor figures and have asked for confirmation. Seat height and mileage are not published. Four colours are listed. Against the Pulsar N150, the extra Rs 44,000 brings a rear disc, dual-channel ABS and more power.

What to consider

  • Official sources give conflicting power, torque and fork-size figures
  • Seat height and mileage not published
  • 12-litre tank is smaller than the Pulsar 150's
