Who it suits: Riders who want the cheapest new Bajaj for daily commuting, especially on rough or unpaved roads.
The Platina 100 is the least expensive Bajaj in Nepal, listed by HH Bajaj as the Platina 100 ES with an indicative ex-showroom price of Rs 2,61,900 (official site, October 2026). It is a plain, practical commuter: a 99.59 cc engine rated at 6.03 kW and 8.3 Nm, an 11-litre tank and a kerb weight of 117 kg.
The number that stands out for Nepali roads is ground clearance. At 200 mm, it is the highest of any Bajaj in our catalogue, higher even than the Pulsar N125's 187 mm. Suspension travel is listed as 135 mm at the front and 110 mm for the spring-in-spring rear, which should help on broken village roads and speed breakers. Braking is by drums at both ends (130 mm front, 110 mm rear) and the bike rides on 17-inch tube-type tyres.
The trade-offs are the ones you would expect at this price. There is no disc brake, the tyres are tube type rather than tubeless, and the distributor does not publish a mileage figure, gearbox details or seat height. The rear brake is described as a drum "with ABS", but the type of system is not stated, so we have not listed it. Four colours are offered, including two black-based two-tone schemes.
Indicative only. Banks add service charges and may price your loan differently.
