Among the models with an official price, the Saluto 125 Disc at Rs 2,84,900. It is a 125 cc commuter with a 7.6 L tank and 180 mm ground clearance, and it uses unified braking rather than ABS. It is a simple, light (114 kg) bike for daily commuting, not a sporty one.
What does the FZ cost, and which version should I pick?
The FZ is Yamaha's 149 cc street bike and it comes in several generations at once, which can be confusing.
- FZ FI V2: Rs 3,66,900, 9.7 kW, 132 kg.
- FZ FI V3: Rs 3,84,900, 9.1 kW, 135 kg.
- FZ FI (2026): Rs 4,04,900, with single-channel (front) ABS.
- FZ-S FI: from Rs 3,84,900 (V2) through Rs 4,30,900 (V3 Deluxe) and Rs 4,49,900 (New Gen) to Rs 4,99,900 (Hybrid).

The three share a 155 cc engine rated at 13.5 kW and about 14 Nm, so the choice is about styling, riding position and price.
- R15 S (Rs 5,69,900): the cheapest of the three and the cheapest R15, with dual-channel ABS. R15 V4 is Rs 6,39,900 and R15 M is Rs 6,79,900.
- MT-15 V2 (Rs 5,81,900): the naked version, Rs 12,000 above the R15 S, with dual-channel ABS.
- XSR 155 (Rs 5,34,900 to Rs 5,64,900): the retro-styled one, priced by colour. It is the lightest of the three at 137 kg.
