Which Royal Enfield is the cheapest in Nepal?

The Hunter 350 is the cheapest, at Rs 4,87,000 for the base Tarmac Black colour. It is also the lightest of the 350s at 181 kg and has the shortest wheelbase (1,370 mm), which is why many first-time Royal Enfield buyers look at it first. The Classic 350 costs Rs 99,000 more at its entry price (Rs 5,86,000 against Rs 4,87,000). Our direct comparison, Classic 350 vs Hunter 350, goes through what that extra money buys.

How do the four 350 cc models differ?

All four use a 349 cc single-cylinder engine rated at 14.87 kW (about 20 hp, our conversion) and 27 Nm in the data we hold, with a 5-speed gearbox and dual-channel ABS. The Goan Classic 350 is listed at 15.06 kW. The differences are in the body.

Ground clearance 160 mm 170 mm 170 mm 170 mm
Claimed mileage 36.2 km/l not published for Nepal 36.2 km/l 36.2 km/l

The Classic 350 figures come from Royal Enfield's India page, so treat them as global figures that may differ in Nepal. Claimed mileage is a brand figure from a standard test. Your own result will be lower, and we explain why in our guide to mileage bikes in Nepal.

If you are shorter, the seat height row matters most. The Goan Classic 350 sits lowest at 750 mm and the Meteor 350 next at 765 mm. If you want the most compact and lightest frame, the Hunter 350 is the pick. If you want the long-standing Classic shape, the Classic 350 is the one.

What if I want more power than a 350?

Three models step up. The Scram 440 has a 443 cc engine with 18.7 kW and 34 Nm, a 6-speed gearbox and 200 mm ground clearance. It starts at Rs 6,89,900, which is Rs 77,900 more than the Goan Classic 350's entry price of Rs 6,12,000.

The Guerrilla 450 and Himalayan 450 share a 452 cc engine with 29.44 kW and 40 Nm and a 6-speed gearbox. That is nearly double the power of a 350 on paper (29.44 kW against 14.87 kW). The Guerrilla 450 is a roadster at Rs 8,99,000 with a 780 mm seat. The Himalayan 450 is the tall touring bike: 230 mm ground clearance, a 17 L tank and an 825 mm seat. Its figures are Royal Enfield India numbers, so confirm them with the Nepal dealer.
