Proton has two electric cars in Nepal: the e.MAS 5, listed at Rs 32,99,000 to Rs 36,99,000, and the larger e.MAS 7, listed at Rs 49,99,000 to Rs 59,99,000 (prices on the official Proton Nepal site, checked October 2026). The e.MAS 7 has the bigger battery and range; the e.MAS 5 costs about Rs 17 lakh less.
One caution on prices: the Proton Nepal site labels these figures as on-the-road prices without insurance, not as ex-showroom prices. Our catalogue stores them as listed, so ask the dealer exactly what is included before comparing with other cars. The e.MAS 5 launched in July 2026 with a first-100-customers introductory price of Rs 29.99 lakh for the Prime and Rs 34.99 lakh for the Premium (The Himalayan Times, 21 July 2026); the site now shows Rs 32.99 lakh and Rs 36.99 lakh as a "special launch price". Pages are in the e.MAS 5 and e.MAS 7 entries.
We have not driven either car. This is a comparison of published numbers.
