The BE 6 is the more compact of Mahindra's two dedicated electric SUVs in Nepal. Three versions with a 59 kWh battery are priced: Pack One Above at Rs 57,00,000, Pack Two at Rs 61,00,000 and Pack Three Select at Rs 68,00,000 (indicative ex-showroom, official site, October 2026). The Pack Three with the larger 79 kWh battery has no price, and the dealer notes that prices at the time of delivery will prevail.

Mahindra claims 543 km of range for the 59 kWh packs and 683 km for the 79 kWh, measured on India's MIDC P1 + P2 cycle. Real-world range in Nepal's hills and traffic will be lower, as with any EV. Charging from 20 to 80 percent on a DC fast charger is quoted at 20 minutes. Drive goes to the rear wheels, with 380 Nm of torque. The spec table puts motor power at 99 kW for every pack, while the page text gives 199 kW for the 79 kWh version, so check the figure for your pack.

At 4,371 mm long with a 455-litre boot and 207 mm of ground clearance, it has useful clearance for broken city roads. Seven airbags and Level 2 ADAS are mentioned, and seven colours are listed, from Everest White to Deep Forest.

What to consider

  • 79 kWh version not priced
  • Contradictory motor power figures on the distributor page
  • Range claimed on an Indian test cycle, not WLTP
  • Final price set at delivery
