The Palisade is Hyundai's largest SUV in Nepal and the only one in the petrol-and-diesel range without a published price; the official price list shows it as price on request. One version is listed, the GLS 4WD AT.

The specification is substantial. A 2,199 cc four-cylinder diesel produces 142 kW and 441 Nm, sent through an eight-speed automatic to all four wheels. The body is 4,980 mm long and 1,975 mm wide on a 2,900 mm wheelbase, with seven seats and a kerb weight of up to 2,015 kg. Hyundai states combined consumption of 7.5 litres per 100 km, roughly 13.3 km/l claimed, and a top speed of 190 km/h.

That torque figure and AWD are useful for loaded trips into the hills, and diesel economy should help on long highway runs. On the other hand, its length and width will make narrow town streets and parking harder work. Ground clearance, boot space and safety equipment are not published, and without a price there is no way to compare value against the Santa Fe or Tucson diesel.
