Toyota Nepal lists the Land Cruiser 250 in two grades: the Prado AR (All Rounder) at an indicative ex-showroom price from Rs 3,22,00,000 and the Prado LUX (VX Luxury) from Rs 3,79,00,000 (official site, October 2026). That makes the LUX the most expensive Toyota with a published price.
Both share a 2,755 cc turbo-diesel making 150 kW and 500 Nm, an eight-speed automatic and four-wheel drive. Toyota's model summary claims 10.6 km/L. The body is 4,925 mm long and 1,980 mm wide, with seven seats, an 80-litre tank and 230 mm of ground clearance. Front suspension is double wishbone, and all four brakes are ventilated discs.
The Rs 57 lakh difference between the grades shows up clearly in two places: the AR is listed with two airbags while the LUX has eight, and the AR rides on 18-inch wheels against the LUX's 20-inch. For rough roads, the AR's taller-sidewall tyres are generally the more forgiving choice, but the airbag count is a real gap.
