Who it suits: Operators who need a 16-seater on a tighter budget and drive mainly on city or moderate roads.
The HiAce is Toyota Nepal's least expensive vehicle, a 16-seat minibus with an indicative ex-showroom price from Rs 90,00,000 (official site, October 2026). It is listed under the Ace on the price list but is a different vehicle with its own engine.
Power comes from a 2,982 cc diesel with 99.92 kW and 300 Nm, through a five-speed manual to the rear wheels. Toyota claims 10 to 15 km/L, no test standard named, which is better than the Ace on paper. The tank is 70 litres and ground clearance 185 mm.
At 5,380 mm long on a 3,110 mm wheelbase, it is more than half a metre shorter than the Ace, which helps in town and on narrow roads, though it is 2,285 mm tall. Three airbags are listed. The hardware is basic: drum brakes at the rear, a leaf-spring rear axle and steel wheels. Its own spec page does not state the fuel type; diesel comes from the grade data on the Ace page. Only one colour, Silver Metallic, is tied to it on the site. Compare it directly with the Ace before choosing.
Indicative only. Banks add service charges and may price your loan differently.
