Which has the most power for the money?
Price per kilowatt is a rough but useful yardstick. The arithmetic is price divided by power, using the figures in the table above.
| Bike | Price per kW |
|---|---|
| Royal Enfield Guerrilla 450 | about Rs 30,500 (8.99 lakh ÷ 29.44 kW) |
| Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 | about Rs 34,400 (10.13 lakh ÷ 29.44 kW) |
| CFMoto 450SR-S | about Rs 36,500 (13.89 lakh ÷ 38 kW) |
| ZXMoto 500RR | about Rs 27,300 (16.95 lakh ÷ 62 kW) |
| ZXMoto 500F | about Rs 28,700 (15.50 lakh ÷ 54 kW) |
| ZXMoto 820RR | about Rs 44,400 (44.00 lakh ÷ 99 kW) |
The ZXMoto four-cylinders give the most power per rupee on paper. Power per rupee is not the whole story: servicing, spare parts and resale are different for each brand, and we do not have verified figures for them. Ask the dealer about service locations before you buy.
Weight, seat and brakes
Blank cells mean the distributor page does not list the figure.
| Bike | Kerb weight | Seat height | Fuel tank | ABS |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Royal Enfield Scram 440 | 196 kg | 795 mm | 15 L | Dual-channel, rear switchable |
| Royal Enfield Guerrilla 450 | 185 kg | 780 mm | 11 L | Dual-channel |
| Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 | 196 kg | 825 mm | 17 L | Dual-channel, switchable |
| Morbidelli T502X | 210 kg | 830 mm | 18 L | Bosch dual-channel, rear switchable |
| CFMoto 450SR-S | 171 kg | not listed | 14 L | Standard |
| ZXMoto 500F | 175 kg | 795 mm | 15.5 L | Dual-channel |
| ZXMoto 500RR | 168 kg | 800 mm | 15 L | ABS |
| ZXMoto 820RR | 193 kg | 825 mm | 18 L | not listed |
| Morbidelli T1002VX | 265 kg | 820 mm | 20 L | Cornering ABS, switchable |
The Guerrilla 450 has the lowest listed seat (780 mm) and the T1002VX is the heaviest by a wide margin (265 kg). A heavier bike is harder to push and to pick up, so try to lift it off the side stand at the showroom.
Is a big bike the right choice for you?
What we like
- Scram 440 and Guerrilla 450 are the two cheapest, both under Rs 9 lakh
- Himalayan 450 has the most listed ground clearance among the 450s (230 mm)
- ZXMoto 500RR makes the most power under Rs 20 lakh (62 kW)
- T1002VX has the largest tank (20 L) for long touring days
What could be better
- Bikes above Rs 10 lakh cost more than many cars in the entry segment
- Power and torque are not listed for every variant on every distributor page
- We have no verified service-network or spare-part data for the Chinese and Italian brands
- Highway touring on a budget: compare the Himalayan 450 and Scram 440 first. Our touring and adventure bike comparison adds more models.
- Sporty looks, lower seat: Guerrilla 450, then the CFMoto 450SR-S.
- Maximum performance: ZXMoto 500RR, then the 820RR. These are track-style supersport bikes, so think about road conditions and parking too.
- Premium adventure touring: Morbidelli T502X or T1002VX.
Use the compare tool to put any two side by side.
What about Harley-Davidson, Kawasaki and the Honda CBR?
Visitors often search our site for these names. At the time of writing, our catalogue does not list a current Harley-Davidson, Kawasaki or Honda CBR 600RR for Nepal because we have not found an official Nepal price page for them. Honda Nepal's own CBR 600RR page showed Rs 0 and no specs when we last read it in October 2026. If a dealer offers one, ask for the price in writing, ask who the authorised importer is, and ask for the customs papers before paying. We list only models with an official or clearly reported Nepal presence.
If you want a premium brand that is officially listed, Triumph and KTM have bikes of roughly 350 to 400 cc priced between about Rs 6.5 lakh and Rs 11.4 lakh in our catalogue. See the KTM line-up explained and the Royal Enfield line-up.
How to pay for a big bike
