Who it suits: Larger families or small businesses that need seven seats in an EV and drive mostly on paved roads.
Few electric options in Nepal seat seven, and the M6 is BYD's answer. It comes in a single Standard version at an indicative ex-showroom price of Rs 58,90,000 (official site, October 2026).
A 71.8 kWh battery gives a claimed WLTP range of 440 km, matching the much dearer Sealion 7. The Nepal site lists the motor at 100 kW and 250 Nm. That is modest for a seven-seater, and we are checking the figures with the distributor; until then, expect relaxed rather than quick progress with a full load on hill roads. DC charging peaks at 115 kW, and a 10-80% charge is quoted at 40 minutes.
Practical numbers are the M6's strength. The boot is listed at up to 580 litres, there's a 12.8-inch screen, and ground clearance is 170 mm, the lowest among BYD's Nepal models that publish it, so take care on rough tracks with passengers on board. The battery and vehicle warranty runs 8 years or 1,60,000 km, with terms applying. The site doesn't list colours in a usable form.
Indicative only. Banks add service charges and may price your loan differently.
