Who it suits: First-time Triumph buyers who want a six-speed roadster at the brand's lowest Nepal price and do not need the extra power of the 400.
The Speed T4 is the entry point to Triumph in Nepal, with an indicative ex-showroom price of Rs 6,49,900 (official site, October 2026). It is not simply a cheaper Speed 400: it uses a smaller 349 cc single-cylinder engine with a stated 21.33 kW and 31 Nm, still with a six-speed gearbox.
The hardware is simpler too. Up front is a 43 mm conventional fork with 140 mm of travel instead of upside-down forks, and the rear gas monoshock with an external reservoir gives 120 mm of travel with preload adjustment. Tyres are 110/70-17 and 140/70-17. The 300 mm front disc uses a ByBre two-piston floating caliper and the rear a 230 mm disc, with ABS on both. Seat height is 806 mm and the tank holds 13 litres.
One detail stands out: the stated wet weight of 180 kg is 10 kg more than the Speed 400, so the lower price does not come with a lighter bike. The Nepal page lists no colour names and no fuel economy figure, and the wheelbase is quoted as 1,406 mm plus or minus 10 mm. For buyers who want the brand and a six-speed single at the lowest Triumph price, it is the obvious starting point.
Indicative only. Banks add service charges and may price your loan differently.
