Who it suits: Buyers who want a practical, tall compact EV with quick charging and strong standard safety at under Rs 40 lakh.
The Syros EV is Kia's boxy compact electric SUV, and it opened for bookings in Nepal in August 2026 in a single HTK version at Rs 37,90,000 (indicative; Kia Nepal does not publish prices online). Kia Nepal has no Syros EV page yet, so the specifications here come from Kia India and may differ slightly in Nepal.
It uses a 42 kWh battery and a 99 kW motor with 255 Nm of torque. Kia India claims 443 km on the MIDC cycle, which is generous; expect noticeably less on Nepali hill roads. Charging is a strong point on paper: 10 to 80 percent in about 39 minutes on a 100 kW DC charger, or roughly four hours from 10 to 100 percent on an 11 kW AC charger.
The Syros is 3,995 mm long with a 2,550 mm wheelbase and a tall, upright body, which gives a 390-litre boot. Six airbags and ESC come as standard, along with a 12.3-inch touchscreen. At almost the same price as the Dongfeng Nammi Vigo and the top Tata Punch.ev, it trades the Vigo's bigger battery for a longer claimed range and faster quoted charging.
Indicative only. Banks add service charges and may price your loan differently.
