BMW Nepal's models page calls the X5 a petrol car, but the X5 page itself shows only the xDrive50e plug-in hybrid. We list that version. There is no published price; it is price on request.
The xDrive50e combines a 3.0-litre inline six-cylinder petrol engine with an electric motor for a stated 483 hp, which we record as 360 kW. It uses an 8-speed Sport Automatic gearbox and xDrive all-wheel drive, and accepts AC charging at 7.4 kW. Listed equipment includes a 14.9-inch screen, a panoramic moonroof, cruise control, a rear camera and driver aids such as frontal collision warning, active blind spot detection and lane departure warning. Twelve colours are offered.
