The Suzuki e Vitara costs Rs 52,99,000 to Rs 64,49,000 ex-showroom in Nepal across four variants (indicative prices on the official Suzuki Nepal site, checked October 2026), with a 49 kWh or 61 kWh battery. It suits buyers who want a familiar brand and a big battery for the money; on paper, several Chinese rivals offer similar battery size for similar or less. For the petrol and hybrid Suzukis too, see Suzuki car price in Nepal.

The e Vitara is the only electric car on Suzuki Nepal's site, a five-seat compact SUV sold by CG MotoCorp. Bookings opened in March 2026 at the WADA Auto Show in Pokhara, at an introductory price of Rs 49.99 lakh for a limited time, Ratopati reported. This is a buyer's guide from official figures; we have not driven it, so it says nothing about how it drives. Full specs are on the Suzuki e Vitara model page.

Prices and variants

Indicative ex-showroom prices on the official site (checked October 2026):

Variant Battery Motor power Claimed range Price
Delta 49 kWh 105.8 kW 440 km Rs 52,99,000
Zeta 61 kWh 128 kW 543 km Rs 57,99,000
Alpha 61 kWh 128 kW 543 km Rs 63,99,000
Alpha DT 61 kWh 128 kW 543 km Rs 64,49,000

What the step-up buys. Delta to Zeta costs Rs 5 lakh and brings the bigger battery, more motor power and 103 km more claimed range (543 − 440). Zeta to Alpha costs another Rs 6 lakh with the same battery and motor; Suzuki's page lists the same powertrain figures, so the difference is equipment. Ask the dealer for the feature list by variant. Alpha DT adds Rs 50,000 over the Alpha and uses the same figures on the official page, so ask the dealer what it adds.

The current Delta price is Rs 3 lakh above the March 2026 introductory price (52.99 − 49.99).

Battery, range and charging

Official figures from the Suzuki Nepal specification table:

Spec Delta (49 kWh) Zeta / Alpha (61 kWh)
Battery 49 kWh LFP 61 kWh LFP
Claimed range 440 km 543 km
Max power 105.8 kW 128 kW
Torque 193 Nm 193 Nm
AC charging, 7.4 kW single-phase, 10–100% about 6.5 hours about 9.0 hours
DC rapid charging, 10–80% 45 minutes 45 minutes
  • The test is not named. The range figures carry a footnote but no test cycle such as WLTP, so they are not directly comparable with the WLTP figures of some rivals. See range and WLTP in our glossary.
  • DC charger power is not stated. Suzuki gives the 45-minute time but not the charger's kW, so ask what DC speed the car accepts.
  • A small inconsistency. The Delta's spec row says 105.8 kW, while its battery row and the price list say 108 kW. Check the registration papers, since motor power sets your tax band.
  • Battery temperature. Suzuki says the battery operates from −30 °C to 60 °C.

Size and features we can confirm

From the official page:

  • Size: 4,275 mm long, 1,800 mm wide, 1,640 mm tall, 2,700 mm wheelbase.
  • Ground clearance: 185 mm, useful on rough roads.
  • Kerb weight: 1,725 kg (Delta) to 1,815 kg (Alpha).
  • Wheels: 225/55 R18 tyres, disc brakes all round.
  • Safety: 7 airbags, Level-2 ADAS, park assist with a 360° camera.

The official page lists the 7 airbags, ADAS and 360° camera as model features without saying which variants have them. Confirm for the variant you want. Suzuki's Nepal page does not list boot space.

Warranty

The official page lists the LFP battery warranty as "8 Years / 16 00 000 km". The kilometre figure is written in an unclear way, so we cannot confirm the distance limit.

Our EV battery warranty guide lists the questions worth asking.

What it costs to run

Electricity. NEA's domestic tariff charges Rs 11 per unit above 250 units a month, and a 5% VAT on household use above 50 units started in July 2026 (The Kathmandu Post; the government was weighing scrapping it in September). We use the higher figure, Rs 11.55 per unit.

  • Full charge at home, before losses: 49 × 11.55 = about Rs 566 (Delta); 61 × 11.55 = about Rs 705 (61 kWh).
  • Example: 1,500 km a month. The official figures work out to about 11.2 kWh per 100 km (61 ÷ 543 × 100). For real use we assume 18 kWh per 100 km at the plug; that is our assumption. So 1,500 × 0.18 = 270 units × Rs 11.55 = about Rs 3,119 a month, roughly Rs 2.08 per km.

Our EV vs petrol guide puts a small petrol car at about Rs 14.29 per km. Run your own figures in the EV vs petrol cost calculator.

Annual tax. The Delta's motor (105.8 kW, or 108 kW on the price list) falls in the 51–125 kW band: Rs 15,000 a year in Bagmati, and Rs 7,500 to Rs 17,000 across provinces (Ratopati, FY 2083/84). The 128 kW variants fall above 125 kW, a band whose Bagmati rate we could not confirm; ask your transport office. See our bluebook and road tax guide.

Loan. Nepal Rastra Bank caps private vehicle loans at 60% of value. On the Delta that is at most about Rs 31.79 lakh (52.99 × 0.6), so you need at least about Rs 21.20 lakh yourself, plus registration, road tax and insurance. Try the EMI calculator.

In plain words:

  • Zeta vs MG S5 EV 62 kWh is the closest match: almost the same battery (61 vs 62.2 kWh), Rs 2 lakh apart. The Suzuki lists more motor power (128 vs 99 kW). MG states a WLTP range and 150 kW DC charging; Suzuki names neither the test nor the DC charger power.
  • Delta vs the Rs 52 lakh Chinese SUVs: the Delta's 49 kWh battery is slightly smaller than the Atto 2 Superior's and the Nevo Q05's, for about Rs 1 lakh more.
  • Warranty is clearer elsewhere. MG states 8 years or 1,50,000 km on the high-voltage battery; Cimex states 6 years / 1,50,000 km for the Atto 2. Suzuki's kilometre figure is unclear.
  • Range claims use different tests, so do not rank them by the headline number.

Who it suits

  • Suzuki owners moving to electric who want a dealer and service network they already know.
  • Buyers who want ground clearance and safety kit on paper: 185 mm, 7 airbags and Level-2 ADAS are listed.
  • The Zeta is the value pick of the range on paper: the big battery and the 128 kW motor at Rs 57.99 lakh.

Look elsewhere if you want a clearly stated WLTP range and DC charging speed, or the most battery for the lowest price.

What to check before buying

  1. Warranty in writing, with the kilometre limit spelled out.
  2. Equipment by variant, especially airbags, ADAS and the 360° camera.
  3. Motor power in the registration papers (105.8 or 108 kW on the Delta).
  4. DC charging speed the car accepts, and the home charger supplied.
  5. Final delivered price in writing, with any current offer.
