The ZX 125 is the entry point to Vespa in Nepal, priced at an indicative Rs 3,54,000 ex-showroom (official site, October 2026). That makes it Rs 50,000 cheaper than the Vespa 125, yet it keeps the same 124.45 cc single-cylinder engine with 7.0 kW and 10.1 Nm.

Where it saves money is mostly at the front wheel. The ZX runs a narrower 90/100-10 front tyre on a 10-inch rim instead of the 110/70-11 used on its siblings, while the rear stays at 120/70-10. It is also the only one of the three with both kick and electric start, a small but practical backup if the battery is weak on a cold morning. Brakes are the familiar 200 mm front disc and 140 mm rear drum with CBS, the front arm is single-sided with hydraulic anti-dive, and the rear shock is adjustable. Seat height is 770 mm and the tank holds 7.4 litres.

One detail to check: the site lists its emissions only as BS VI, without the OBD II Stage B wording used on the other two models. Kerb weight, ground clearance, fuel economy and colours are also missing from the published sheet.

What to consider

  • Narrower, smaller front tyre than the other Vespas
  • Emissions listed only as BS VI, without the Stage B detail
  • CBS only; no kerb weight, mileage or colours published
