The 450CL-C is a twin-cylinder cruiser. Its 449 cc water-cooled parallel twin produces 30 kW at 8,000 rpm and 42 Nm at 6,250 rpm, and drive goes to the rear wheel by belt rather than chain, which means less cleaning and adjusting. No official price is published yet; the reported price is about Rs 11.99 lakh, which we list as indicative.
The low 705 mm seat is the standout number and will suit shorter riders. The rest of the sheet is substantial too: 181 kg curb weight, a 12-litre tank, 160 mm of ground clearance and a 1,485 mm wheelbase. A 37 mm upside-down fork and a monoshock handle suspension, with a 320 mm front disc and four-piston radial caliper plus a 220 mm rear disc. ABS and traction control are standard. Tyres are 16-inch at both ends, 130/90 front and 150/80 rear.
The small tank limits the distance between fuel stops on long trips. It comes in four colours: Teal Green, Nebula White, Nebula Black and Galaxy Grey.
