The cheapest 7-seater car in Nepal is the Suzuki Eeco 7 Seater van at Rs 35,39,000; the cheapest seven-seat SUV is the diesel Mahindra Bolero Neo at Rs 53,00,000. For most families our pick is one of the electric seven-seaters between Rs 57.99 and Rs 61.99 lakh: the Wuling Eksion, BYD M6, Wuling Darion or MG Hector Tomahawk EV. For every electric model, see the electric car price in Nepal list, and for the Wuling pair the Wuling car price guide.
"7 seater car price in Nepal" is a common search, often with a brand attached: Suzuki, Hyundai, BYD, Toyota, Mahindra, Kia. This guide lists every seven-seat car in our catalogue that is on sale with a price, sorted from cheapest to dearest, then picks the best one for each budget. For every body type, see our car price in Nepal list, or the brand guides for Suzuki, Hyundai and Mahindra.
Prices are indicative ex-showroom prices for the cheapest seven-seat version, checked in October 2026. Most come from the official distributor sites. Where a brand publishes no price, we use the indicative price we show on our model page and say so. Registration, road tax and insurance come on top. We have not driven these cars.

How we chose the picks
Seven-seaters are bought for families and for long trips with luggage, so we weighed four things, in this order:
- Price of the cheapest seven-seat version.
- Running cost: electric beats petrol and diesel by a wide margin (example below).
- Published warranty on the Nepal site.
- Popularity: our 0–100 score from reported sales and news coverage in Nepal, which tells you how easy service and resale are likely to be.
Our picks by budget
Cheapest seven seats: Suzuki Eeco 7 Seater (Rs 35,39,000). A boxy van with a 1,196 cc petrol engine, 54 kW, a manual gearbox and a claimed 16.11 km/l. It is the only seven-seater under Rs 50 lakh. It is a basic people-carrier; Suzuki's Nepal page lists no airbag count, so ask.
Cheapest seven-seat SUV: Mahindra Bolero Neo (Rs 53,00,000). A 1,493 cc diesel, two-wheel drive with a manual gearbox, in one N8 version on Agni Mahindra's price list. Note that Mahindra's own spec table on the Bolero Neo page appears to be copied from another model, so we only trust the price-list facts.
Best value overall: the electric seven-seaters (Rs 57.99 to Rs 61.99 lakh). Four models sit within Rs 4 lakh of each other, and each has a battery of about 70 kWh:
| Model | Price | Battery | Claimed range (test) | Warranty on the Nepal site |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Wuling Eksion | Rs 57,99,000 | 69.2 kWh | 440 km (WLTP) | Battery 8 yrs / 1,50,000 km |
| BYD M6 | Rs 58,90,000 | 71.8 kWh | 440 km (WLTP) | Vehicle and battery 8 yrs / 1,60,000 km |
| Wuling Darion | Rs 59,99,000 | 69.2 kWh | 445 km (WLTP) | Battery 8 yrs / 1,50,000 km |
| MG Hector Tomahawk EV | Rs 61,99,000 | 69.2 kWh | 517 km (MIDC) | Not published in Nepal |
The BYD M6 is our pick of the four: it has the biggest battery and the only published whole-vehicle warranty, and Cimex lists a 580-litre boot (maximum) and 115 kW DC charging. The Wuling Eksion is the cheapest and, like the Tomahawk, has a high popularity score. The Eksion is a "5+2" (Wuling's own term), so the third row is best for children. The Tomahawk's 517 km is on India's MIDC test, which gives higher numbers than WLTP. Artha Pranali reported that G.O. Automobiles launched it in Nepal in October 2026. We compare these head to head in Wuling vs MG seven-seaters and Wuling Eksion vs MG Tomahawk, and the BYD alone in our BYD M6 guide.
Best diesel seven-seater under Rs 1.4 crore: Mahindra Scorpio N (Rs 82,50,000 to Rs 1,36,00,000). Every version has seven seats, and 4WD is available from the Z4 4WD MT at Rs 93,00,000. The Kathmandu Post reported Mahindra unveiled it in Nepal in June 2022, at the same time as in India. It scores highest on popularity of any diesel seven-seater.
Petrol under Rs 1 crore: Mahindra XUV700 (AX5 MT 7-seater, Rs 87,75,000). A 147.1 kW petrol engine; the five-seat AX3 starts lower at Rs 74,00,000, so check you are quoted the 7-seat version.
Premium diesel: Toyota Fortuner (Rs 2,70,00,000). Toyota Nepal lists a 2,755 cc diesel, 4WD, seven airbags, ESC and 225 mm ground clearance. The Ford Everest costs the same.
Running cost: diesel or petrol vs electric
For example, with claimed figures and our own arithmetic over 1,500 km a month:
| Seven-seater | Claimed figure | Energy price | Cost per km | 1,500 km a month |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Suzuki Eeco (petrol) | 16.11 km/l | Rs 200 per litre (NOC, Kathmandu) | about Rs 12.41 | about Rs 18,622 |
| Toyota Fortuner (diesel) | 13 km/l (manual) | Rs 200 per litre diesel (NOC, as reported in August 2026) | about Rs 15.38 | about Rs 23,077 |
| BYD M6 (electric) | 71.8 kWh for 440 km (WLTP) | Rs 11.55 per unit (NEA top household rate plus 5% VAT) | about Rs 1.88 | about Rs 2,827 |
Real figures are higher, especially loaded with seven people on hill roads, but the order does not change. Try your own numbers in the EV vs petrol cost calculator.
Paying for a seven-seater: an EMI example
Nepal Rastra Bank caps a bank loan at 60% of a private vehicle's value, so you need at least 40% down. For example, over five years at Nepal Bank's published fixed rates (effective Kartik 1, 2083):
| Seven-seater | Price | Down payment (40%) | Loan (60%) | Rate | EMI, 5 years |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Mahindra Bolero Neo | Rs 53,00,000 | Rs 21,20,000 | Rs 31,80,000 | 7.99% (auto loan) | about Rs 64,464 |
| BYD M6 | Rs 58,90,000 | Rs 23,56,000 | Rs 35,34,000 | 7.90% (EV loan) | about Rs 71,488 |
The electric M6 costs about Rs 7,000 a month more in EMI in this example, but its energy cost is far lower than a diesel's, as the running-cost table above shows. Rates vary by bank and change monthly; check yours in the EMI calculator.
