Who it suits: Riders who want an entry-level adventure bike for mixed roads and are willing to check fit and clearance in person.
For riders whose daily route mixes city traffic with unpaved stretches, the 250 Adventure is KTM's lower-priced adventure option in Nepal at an indicative ex-showroom Rs 8,09,900 (official site, October 2026). It uses the same 249.07 cc engine figures as the 250 Duke, a stated 31 PS at 9,250 rpm and 25 Nm, with a six-speed gearbox; the page describes the engine as SOHC.
Brakes are a 320 mm front disc with a radially mounted caliper and a 240 mm rear disc with a floating caliper. The ABS is listed as Offroad ABS, which suits loose surfaces. Kerb weight is 177 kg, 12 kg more than the 250 Duke, and the fuel tank holds 14.5 litres.
The official page leaves out the numbers that usually decide an adventure bike purchase: there is no ground clearance, seat height, suspension travel or wheel size listed, and no fuel economy figure. Without those, it is hard to compare it properly with other adventure bikes, so a test ride and a look at the bike in person are important. The 390 Adventure costs Rs 3,30,000 more.
