Ford sells the Next Gen Ranger pickup in two automatic diesel versions: the XLT at Rs 1,39,90,000 and the WTRAK at Rs 1,69,90,000 (indicative ex-showroom prices, official site, October 2026). The official site lists the same engine figures for both and does not explain what the extra Rs 30 lakh for the WTRAK buys.

Those engine figures are the strongest part of the spec sheet. The model page describes a 2.0-litre four-cylinder bi-turbo diesel rated at 210 PS and 500 Nm, driving through an automatic gearbox, and both versions seat five. That much torque is what counts when a loaded pickup is climbing a steep hill road, and diesel remains the practical fuel for long-distance work outside the valley.

Beyond the engine, the site is thin. Its mileage box shows an obviously wrong value, so we have not listed one, and dimensions, payload, ground clearance, drive type and the equipment difference between the two versions are all missing. Colours are Meteor Grey and Blue Lightning. One more thing to watch: the previous-generation Ranger is still on Ford's price list at the same Rs 1,39,90,000 as this XLT, so make sure you know which truck a quotation refers to.
